Description:

JRos Classic Adagio is the first of the second generation ponies of JRosEquine. Adagio is sired by Congress GRAND Champion JRos Classic Amir and out of Bonita’s Black Velvet Cat. Adagio is a grandson of JRosEquine cornerstone breeding stallion, Double Superior Sire, Graham’s Noble Prince. Linebred Georgetown’s Tom Cat, Adagio brings some of the almost-forgotten, old bloodlines back into the Shetland industry with a boldness and a presence that is truly unforgettable. From the moment he hit the ring as a two year old, Adagio started turning heads, gaining a staggering 37 grand championships under 37 judges as a classic stallion on the rated ASPC circuit within the timespan of one year, earning him the title of 2021 Classic Pony of the year. At the 2021 Congress, Adagio was two-time Congress Champion and Reserve Congress Senior Champion behind his sire, Amir. In 2022, Adagio went on to again be a Congress Champion, Reserve Congress Senior Champion, and Reserve Congress Grand Champion Classic Stallion.

Adagio is expecting his first foals in the Spring of 2023!
